I recently modified a Canon 350D into an IR Photo camera myself. I am so proud of myself that I could do that!  No more long shutter times. No more screwing the IR filter on and off... and most of all: You can see everything clearly through your seeker  This is my first IR photo I upload. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. What does this button do? Oops.....sorry. Did that hurt?
As you might have noticed, not all IR photo's are sharp. Hell, most are even bit OOF.
But in order to calibrate the camera as best as possible, I will need a lens with a huge aperture... Hmm... Need to buy the cheap 50mm 1.8 again

Life Pixel will install the new filter and calibrate the lens for $350 USD.....I am thinking of spending the money and not messing with the whole thing myself.
Can't wait to see your images after the calibration! Have fun with the new toy......lol
